Dr. Minchul An

Co-Founder & CEO

Min’s career as a Registered Pharmacist began in 2012 upon graduating from Northeastern University with a Doctorate of Pharmacy. Being on the bench working in various healthcare settings, Min has witnessed the consequences of opioid addiction on a patient-facing level. On a more personal level, he’s seen close friends struggle with addiction and even at one point teetering close to that line himself. Before discovering CBD, Min has taken benzodiazepines which are highly sedative medications that helped manage his anxiety. He used to think that a normal life without his prescription would be impossible, but CBD has restored his well-being and changed his perspective on traditional pharmaceuticals.

As a natural medicine advocate and cannabis enthusiast, Min completed the New York State Practitioner Education-Medical Use of Marijuana course provided by NYS DOH. Also, an animal rescue activist, Min works closely with Korean K9 Rescue group, a non-profit organization that saves dogs from dog meat farms in South Korea. While working with dogs who have been through a lot of trauma, Min discovered the benefits of using CBD oil in rescue dogs’ diets as a mood stabilizer.

Dr. Bhaveek Mistry

Co-Founder & COO

Veek graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in Boston with a Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2014. He began his career in various retail chains after graduating, but wasn’t satisfied with the large corporate environment, and now owns an independent pharmacy in Clifton, NJ. Operating his own pharmacy has allowed Veek to have a more personal relationship with his patients in order to facilitate a better quality of life. One of the difficulties pharmacists face in the healthcare industry is the opioid dependency that patients develop due to mis-prescribed or mis-use of opioids, which have a high risk of addiction. Reducing that risk of dependency on drugs with natural products for a more holistic approach is Veek’s (and buzzn’s) philosophy.

As a first generation Indian, Veek was raised on natural remedies and ailments recommended by family. Many of the spices and plants that grow naturally have great medicinal effects without the side-effects one gets from synthetically made medicine, and most importantly, without the dependency from processed pills and products. Veek is an advocate for the healing power of plants, and encourages his patients to consider looking into CBD supplements as a natural remedy for certain conditions.
